This website (automize.work) is operated by John Cant ("I", "me", "my"). This policy explains what information I collect, why, and what your rights are. If you have any questions, email john@automize.work.

• Information you give me. When you use the contact form or email me, I collect your name, email address and the details of your enquiry.
• Usage & advertising data. If you arrive via an online ad or visit the site, third-party services (see below) may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, typically via cookies or similar technologies.

2. How I use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the automation services you ask about.
• To measure and improve the performance of my advertising and website (for example, understanding which ads lead to enquiries).
• To meet legal or record-keeping obligations.

I do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party services

This site may use the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Ads & Google Analytics: advertising measurement and conversion tracking.
• Netlify: site hosting and form processing, which delivers contact-form submissions to me by email.
• YouTube: embedded video walkthroughs load only after you click to play. YouTube may set cookies once a video is played.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses them mainly for advertising measurement and analytics. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking them will not stop the core site from working.

5. Data retention

I keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to carry out work we agree on. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under UK/EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email john@automize.work and I'll respond promptly.

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
