Entertainment agency leadflow
Leads were typed into Pipedrive by hand, 2–3 hours a week, and follow-up ran on under 40% of them. I rebuilt the leadflow: routing, enquiry-type tagging, email and SMS sequences, deduplication and automatic Xero invoicing.
Emergency-services SaaS funnel
The sales director was doing around 10 hours of manual lead research a week. I automated the funnel: live chat, demo-call booking, deduplication, follow-up reminders and content routing by industry (fire, police, ambulance, mountain rescue).
REDAKA campaign: outreach at scale
Checking one Amazon listing for wrong-language images took 30 minutes by hand. I built a pipeline that crawls bestseller lists across marketplaces, reads the text inside each listing's images, scores the mismatch, finds contacts and sends personalised outreach.
REDAKA app: AI image translation
An AI product that translates the text baked into product images while keeping the original font, colour and layout. I founded it, set the product direction and managed the developer who built the software.
Personalised report system (flagship)
Two workflows from a nine-workflow outreach engine: preview-or-send drafting with per-firm exclusion logic and a PDF report, plus a form webhook that creates Pipedrive deals, writes predictions to Grist and alerts the team in Slack.
Scorecard quiz → CRM + draft reply
The moment someone submits the quiz, the workflow checks Pipedrive, creates the contact if they're new, routes them down one of four score-based paths, logs a note back to the CRM and drafts a personalised advice email ready to send.
One-click proposal generation
One action on a Pipedrive deal creates a client-named folder, drops in a proposal doc and calculator from templates, and sends the team a Slack message with the links.
Commission invoicing & onboarding
Commission billing meant pulling Amazon figures and calculating by hand, every month. I automated it: figures captured by form, calculation run, Xero invoice drafted. A companion flow onboarded each new client with folders, an Asana project and a welcome email.
Nightly workflow backup
A scheduled 3am job lists every workflow in the account, builds the commit and pushes timestamped copies to GitHub. Disaster recovery for a 60–70 workflow library, with no one needing to remember it.

A UK-based n8n specialist, business-logic first
I'm John Cant, a UK-based n8n consultant and independent freelancer. I've automated the business logic behind real companies for years: billing, onboarding, lead routing, follow-up, reporting. That includes running my own Amazon Japan e-commerce agency and founding REDAKA, an AI image-translation product.
I'm not an agency and not a reseller. I'm one engineer who takes the job end to end. My earlier work was built in Zapier; today I build multi-workflow systems in self-hosted n8n, so you keep control of your data and your running costs. Common questions
How much does a project cost?
Most projects fall between £500 and £3,000, depending on scope. A single workflow sits at the lower end; a multi-workflow system sits higher. Fixed scope, no hourly rates: after the free audit you get a fixed quote before any work starts.
What tools do you work with?
Mainly n8n and Zapier for the workflows, Pipedrive for CRM, and Google Docs, Sheets and Drive, plus Slack, Xero, Calendly, Apify, Grist, Supabase and AI services like GPT and Claude. If your business runs on something else, I can usually connect it over its API or webhooks.
Do you build in n8n or Zapier?
Both. Zapier is quick and dependable for straightforward automations. For bigger multi-workflow systems I use self-hosted n8n: more control, lower running costs, and your data never passes through a third-party cloud. I'll recommend whichever fits your needs and budget.
Can you work with my existing CRM and tools?
Yes. The whole point is to connect what you already use. I map your current process first, then automate the repetitive parts (routing, data entry, follow-ups, invoicing, reporting) without you switching platforms.
